Hi Pankaj

Hope you and the rest of your family are fine as we are in Auckland New Zealand.

 

I will start with my agent in New Zealand, where it all started.

I do not have any issues or complains with Mr Dixit Chauhan from Auckland who spent a lot of time with us discussing, compiling, giving us various tour options showing lots of patience and understanding and above all showing a lot of professionalism in what he does best.

 

Upon arrival in Delhi I met you and was in contact with you via phone throughout  our stay in Delhi. You are are great asset to your organisation Mr Pankaj. You did your part as a tour co-ordinator as if you own this company. You were always there for us in the mornings, with a small wee de - brief, checking us out around midday and later at the hotel  towards end of the day. I do not want to elaborate on tours, monuments and temples on our schedules as this is every individuals choice.

While on drivers, I recommend Sanjay in Delhi, Vicky in Amritsar and Latchman in Mumbai. Only Sanjay always had bottled water in his car. The rest of the drivers didn't or never offered. Almost all drivers try to put a/c in low mode so that they save on fuel consumption I suppose. I used to operate this myself to make myself and my family comfortable. I was tipping the drivers the required amount so there was no conflict of interest in anything.

 

On guides I highly recommend Rakesh from Amritsar

We got picked up  from Amritsar Airport by Raju whose driving was terrible and pathetic. He is a disgrace to your tourism industry in India. He had a great personality but that does not saves lives. I rest my case here.

 

Mumbai

Our tour guide in Mumbai (Sheikh) was late on our first meeting, Also he was sleeping in the car half way on our tour around Mumbai. Actually he was sleeping off and on in the car throughout our tour. That's why we dumped him on the first day and did our Mumbai tour ourselves. On most of our tours we only used guides for half days only except Rakesh from Amritsar who was with us the whole day.

 

Accommodation/ Hotels 

Holiday Inn in Amritsar was shocking

The room was filthy 

Bathroom was dirty with wood chips from recently renovated bathroom

Water in bathrooms

I brought this to the managers attention after checking in and got it cleaned and spoke to the manager after checking out. I will be putting some bad remarks about them in the Trip Advisor soon

Customer service in front desk was terrible, anything requested was delivered after 1.5 hours later

On a positive note about this place, the restaurant staff of Ashish, Mohan and Sanjay were excellent and they were rewarded with tips for their services.

 

In conclusion, and without hesitation I would recommend Royale Travels and your personality, to my families and friends or to the potential traveler's who may wish to travel  India in the near future, but I hold my case back against your company who use these people who are giving your company a bad name and letting us down as visitors in your beautiful country.
