The tour overview :

Onset with sightseeing from Chennai enjoying the tranquillity of the beaches at Pondicherry, glimpsing the beautiful temples at Madurai, heading towards the Kodaikanal – Ooty the queen of hill stations. Expose to the palaces and tombs at Mysore and Bangalore.

Day 1 - Arrival Chennai - -

  • On arrival Chennai International airport where our company representative meets and greet later you will be transfer to hotel check-in and relax. 

    CHENNAI: Elegantly placed in the shores of Coromandel Coast, is the Capital of Indian State of Tamil Nadu and also the major gateway to South India. It is also the major Commercial, Cultural, Economic and Educational Center in South India. 

    Overnight stay will be at Chennai.

Day 2 - Chennai - -

  • Morning after early breakfast proceed for Chennai Sightseeing visit the former British strong hold of Fort St. George and see the world-famous collection at the Government Museum. Witness the vibrant Marina Beach and see the graceful St. Thomas Basilica, built by Portuguese settlers. Also visit the Kapaleeshwara Temple later enjoy at  Marina Beach.

    Evening at leisure.

Day 3 - Chennai-Mahabalipuram-Pondicherry - (By Road: 160 Km. / 4 hrs. ) -

  • Morning after early breakfast proceed for Pondicherry en-route visit Mahabalipuram....

    This lovely seaside capital was the capital of the Pallavas dynasty. You could visit the shore temple, the largest bas-relief in the world called Arjuna`s Penance and the famous and beautiful Five Rathas (Chariots) are what will be most eye-catching. Arjuna`s Penance, a complicated piece of work on a vertical rock is one of the best preserved.

    Continue your drive to Pondicherry....

    French dreams of an Indian Empire began and ended in Pondy, but in the scattered territories of the Union Territory of Pondicherry there remains what little there is left of the French influence in India and that makes the territory, especially its headquarters, Pondicherry, unique, something quite different from the rest of India. The Union Territory of Pondicherry comprises of 4 coastal regions viz- Pondicherry, Karaikal, Mahe and Yanam . Pondicherry and Karaikal are situated on the East Coasts in Tamil Nadu, Yanam in Andra Pradesh and Mahe on the West Coast in Kerala. Pondicherry is the Capital of this Union Territory.

Day 4 - Pondicherry - -

  • After breakfast proceed for sightseeing and visit Pondicherry Museum, Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Arulmigu Manakula, Vinayagar Temple, Seaside Promenade &  French colonies 

    Sri Aurobindo Ashram founded in 1920, is the residence where the Sri Aurobindo and revered Mother Mirra Richard, popularly known as Maa, spent the most part of their life. This place attracts many thousands of people each year.

    Seaside Promenade One of the things that does justice to Pondicherry's French Roots is its beautiful Seaside Promenade. The area is well maintained, clean and beautiful and you can actually feel foam spray on your face while sipping a cooler in one of the many cafes at the promenade. Whether you're visiting during the sunny day or the starry night, the Seaside Promenade is equally feel good.

    In the evening enjoy on the beach...!!!! 

    Overnight stay will be at Pondicherry.

Day 5 - Pondicherry-Darasuram-Tanjore - (By Road: 180 Km. / 5 hrs. ) -

  • After an early breakfast drive to Tanjore visiting the temples at Darasuram en-route.

    A `Sculptor`s dream in stone`, musical pillars, Mandapam in the shape of a chariot, a wealth of sculpture and painting are synonymous with Airavateshvara Temple at Darasulam. The temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, is a well-preserved example of 12th century Chola architecture.

    Later proceed to Tanjore also called Thanjavur, is a famous temple town, known for a fascinatingly rich cultural heritage, the ancient capital of the Cholas, Thanjavur is dotted with as many as 74 temples and rightly so it`s one of the biggest temple towns of south India. 

    Today you will visit the world famous Brihandeswara Temple (10th century Temple) - dedicated to Lord Shiva with a huge Shiva Lingam and a stone sculpture of the Nandi Bull. The Temple has been included in the UNESCO`s list of World Heritage Monuments.

    Later visit The Palace of Tanjore and the Bronze Museum.

    Overnight stay will be at Tanjore. 

Day 6 - Tanjore - Trichy - Madurai - (By Road: 200 Km. / 4 hrs. ) -

  • After Breakfast complete your sightseeing tour of other Tanjore Temples later drive to Madurai en-route visit Trichy

    Tiruchirappalli (also called Tiruchi or Trichy) is an ancient city in India's southern Tamil Nadu state. The Kaveri and Kollidam rivers flow around Srirangam Island, which is known for sacred Hindu sites Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, with intricately carved gopurams (towering gateways), and Jambukeswarar-Akilandeswari Temple, dedicated to the god Shiva. The Rock Fort Temple complex towers over the city. 

    Continue your drive to Madurai reach check in hotel and relax. 

    Overnight stay will be at Madurai.

Day 7 - MADURAI - -

  • After a breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Madurai The Temple Town....

    The city of Madurai was originally built in the shape of a lotus flower, centred on the celebrated Sri Meenakshi Temple. The rich cultural heritage and striking architectural leads many Indians to refer to the city as the `Athens of the East`. Most of the most important monuments and buildings in Madurai were built during the reign of Thirumalai Nayak who ruled the region from 1623-1659. His palace, actually designed by an Italian architect, makes for an interesting visit, along with the Puthu Mandapam and Pillared Hall (which now houses a Museum of Temple Art.) The streets and markets around the temple bustle with pilgrims, traders and locals going about their daily business.

    Enjoy an atmospheric tour of the Meenakshi temple complex.

Day 8 - Madurai - Koddaikanal - (By Road: 130 Km. / 3 hrs. ) -

  • Morning after breakfast drive to Kodaikanal...

    "The Gift of the Forest" is referred to as the "Princess of Hill stations" and has a long history as a retreat and popular tourist destination. Kodaikanal was established in 1845 as a refuge from the high temperatures and tropical diseases of the plains. 

    Reach check in hotel and after some relax later explore city enjoy nature and boating in Kodaikanal Lake.

    Overnight will be at Koddaikanal.

Day 9 - Koddaikanal - -

  • After relax breakfast proceed for sightseeing visit...

    Coakers Walk, Pillar Rocks, Bryant park, Kurinji Andavar Temple and Silver Cascade

    Rest of the day explore the city enjoy nature and you can again go for boating in the lake

    Overnight stay will be at Koddaikanal.

Day 10 - Koddaikanal - Coonoor - (By Road: 236 Km. / 6 hrs. ) -

  • After relax breakfast proceed for Coonoor en-route visit Coimbatore.....

    A city in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu to the northwest is the centuries-old, Dravidian-style Arulmigu Subramaniyaswami Temple, Marudamalai. The colorful and intricately carved Arulmigu Patteeswarar Swamy Temple lies southeast of here. In the center, the Gass Forest Museum has a huge collection of preserved animals and tree trunks. Southeast, birds and butterflies inhabit Singanallur Lake.

    Continue your drive to Coonoor

    It’s known for its tea estates in the surrounding Nilgiri hills. Sim’s Park is a sprawling public garden with plants like rhododendrons, roses and eucalyptus trees. The steam Nilgiri Mountain Railway travels between the towns of Mettupalayam and Ooty via Coonoor. Dolphin’s Nose is a vantage point with views of the cascading Catherine Falls.

Day 12 - Coonoor - Ooty - (By Road: 25 Km. / 1 Hr. ) -

  • After ealr breakfast proceeed for railway station to enjoy train ride from Coonoor to Ooty

    The Nilgiri Mountain Railway toy train is the highlight of a visit to the popular hill station of Ooty. Established in the early 19th century by the British as the summer headquarters of the Chennai government,

    Board the toy train (Nilgiri Mountain Railway)  56136 - MTP UAM PASSR - 10:40 AM / 12:00 HRS..

    In Ooty railway station you will be picked up an transferred to your Ooty Hotel.

Day 13 - Ooty - -

  • After relax breakfast proceed for sightseeing...

    Enjoy the pleasant environment of the fantastic place and visit the Doddabbetta Peak Doddabetta is the highest mountain in the Nilgiri Mountains at 2,637 metres. The name derived from two Kannada words, Dodda means Big and betta means Hill, making it Doddabetta. There is a reserved forest area around the peak. It is 9 km from Ooty.

    Rest of the day explore the city enjoy nature and you can again go for boating in the lake

Day 14 - Ooty - Madikeri - (By Road: 265 Km. / 6 hrs. ) -

  • After breakfast proceed for Madikeri.... 

    Framed by the Western Ghats mountain range, it’s known for the Raja’s Seat, a simple monument overlooking forests and rice paddies. In the center, the 17th-century Madikeri Fort features 2 stone elephants at the entrance. Nearby, the domed Omkareshwar Temple is dedicated to the Hindu deity Shiva. To the northwest, cascading Abbey Falls is surrounded by spice plantations.

    Reach check in hotel and relax later proceed to visit Omkareshwar Temple.

Day 16 - Madikeri - Mysore - (By Road: 135 Km. / 3 hrs. ) -

  • After breakfast proceed for Mysore....

    Mysore (or Mysuru), was the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore from 1399 to 1947. In its center is opulent Mysore Palace, seat of the former ruling Wodeyar dynasty. The palace blends Hindu, Islamic, Gothic and Rajput styles. Mysore is also home to the centuries-old Devaraja Market, filled with spices, silk and sandalwood.

    Reach check in hotel and relax later proceed for sighseeing and visit....

    Mysore Palace, Sri Chamundeshwar Temple & Bridavan Garden.

Day 17 - Mysore - Bangalore - (By Road: 150 Km. / 3 hrs. ) -

  • After breakfast proceed for Bangalore en-route visit Srirangapatna to sight see Tippu Sultan`s Summer Palace 

    Continue your drive towards Bangalore is the capital of India's southern Karnataka state. The center of India's high-tech industry, the city is also known for its parks and nightlife. By Cubbon Park, Vidhana Soudha is a Neo-Dravidian legislative building. Former royal residences include 19th-century Bangalore Palace, modeled after England’s Windsor Castle, and Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, an 18th-century teak structure.

Day 18 - Bangalore Departure - -

  • Breakfast will be at hotel later proceed for sightseeing visit....

    Vidhana Soudha, Cubbon Park, Bull Temple, Dr. Viswesvarayya`s Industrial Museum, Lal Bagh in Bangalore. 

    Later in time you will be transferred to the airport to board the flight for your onward journey with sweet memories of India Tour.
